4. This really does have that nightmare feel to it. Everything goes wrong, he can't do anything right, but he tries, he tries so hard. He gets shot off the train, the iron bar he's holding onto breaks, he runs out of ammo, he throws his knife(his last weapon) the bear ignores his incendiary bolt, he can't catch up to the humanimals... He can't save the family...

5. Well, I understand these things while watching:ARTYOM'S 4 FEAR:1) Having a child with Anna in a new bad world. Becouse this world become so painful after WW3 (Baby is wearing gas mask becouse of it)2) Anna dont want's to Artyom die. Becouse she dont want a life without Artyom. So Artyom is fearing death becouse he dont want Sad Anna.3) Humanoid Mutants.4) Dont able to save someone.

7. If Kratos is the God of War, Then Artyom is Man of war, he is the abiltiy of man but nightmares still overtake what you don't have, as Artyom goes through such hardship, but there has to be a sacerfice to one you love or had

There's an hidden reference to the trailer in the game:For who didn't played the game already SPOILER ALLERT: there's a trasmission if you sit and search for clear frequencies on the radio during the travel with the Aurora ( I don't remember if you can find it after Volga or Caspian), you could listen the kid from the nightmare trailer asking for help, alone, while the family in the photo that Artyom saw in the nightmare is already been killed by mutants. You can hear him dying right after because of mutants break in the house. The trailer is basically a premonition dream: the first part you see the fear of Artyom of living his entire life and rasing his child in the Metro ( Anna and the child with the gas mask on a boat in the Volga), then he see the other journey lands (Caspian desert, Taiga, Novosibirsk) The premonition also concern the extreme sensation of impotency and sadness that Artyom feel hearing that transmission on the radio and, in the end of the nightmare, you can see what will start this chain of events: him paying respect for who died in the Metro (you can also see the map with the complete journey right near the photo and the matrioska if you stop at 3:30) just before going on the surface searching for signals on the radio, with the game that start with him on the way back to the Metro station with blood poisoned by radiations ( blood: the same thing he will need for the right ending).
